Keith Westmoreland

Keith Westmoreland

Keith Westmoreland was a Republican member of the Tennessee House of Representatives from 1993 to 2002.

In June of 2002, while on a trip to the Florida Panhandle, Westmoreland was arrested by the Walton County Sheriff. According to eyewitness reports, the Republican State Representative had been repeatedly exposing his genitals to children in a hotel pool and hot tub over the course of three days.

After his arrest, investigations found that Nashville police had heard similar allegations about Keith Westmoreland’s behavior in the past. A FOIA request also revealed that he had been investigated for several years about potential organized crime connections.

On June 19, 2002, Republican State Representative Kenneth Westmoreland was found dead in the bathroom of his home. The cause of death was a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest.

In 2018, Westmoreland’s 48-year-old son Stoney Westmoreland was arrested in Salt Lake City after he sent nude photographs of himself to an individual he believed to be 13 years old. He was actually communicating with an undercover police officer, and after booking a car to take him to an illegal pedophile rendezvous, he was formally charged with enticing a minor.

Stoney Westmoreland eventually pled guilty to using interstate facilities to transmit information about a minor and was sentenced to 24 months in prison and 10 years of supervised release.

Conservative accused pedophile Keith Westmoreland is dead. Stoney Westmoreland has been released from prison.
